A Message From The Board

To our valued partners, the VRATE Board will continue to hold the 2021 VRATE Expo using an online platform that is accessible to our attendees across the State. We regret that due to the continued uncertainty caused by coronavirus (COVID 19) VRATE has made the decision, out of an abundance of caution, to remain virtual for 2021. We want to thank everyone for your strong commitment to VRATE.  Year after year, you have demonstrated the importance of having a place to network, socialize and learn about the latest technology that improve the lives of those who are blind or visually impaired. VRATE is the Southwest’s Largest & Longest Running Vision Loss/Blindness Resource Event and we want to continue this tradition. VRATE 2021 is scheduled for November 19, 2021 from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

While we might not be together in one place for the 2021 Vision Rehabilitation Assistive Technology Expo, the Board has put together a strong line up of speakers presenting on topics that are important to our community ranging from new technologies to non-visual techniques used around the kitchen.
